Information

Some Lexus model year RX and NX have the ability to bolt-on 6 POT front Advics calipers onto the car. Toyota Sienna, Highlander and Venza also have this ability. These front calipers and rotors will be a direct bolt-on without any use of shims, bracket or spacers.

The only modifications needed is enlarging the two front calper mounting holes on your knuckle to M14 bolt size hole using a 9/16 drill bit. When drilling the hole, please be straight as possible. Take your time and slowly press into the knuckle as it can catch and throw your wrist. Clean all metal shaving and make sure there are no shavings on any thread bolts of the spindle of your car. You do not want bolts to be stuck on the car because of metal shavings. Some cars will require trimming or bending of the dust shield. During the installation on our 2022 Lexus NX350 shop car, we discovered that the front dust shield needed no trimming. When installing, please check the clearance of the dust shield and trim accordingly as needed.

Also, you must use the 2023 Lexus RX 350 F Sport brake lines because your stock brake lines will be too short and not compatible. Picture to the left shows stock NX brake lines flipped around and mounted using extra banjo crush washer. Zip ties were used to hold the brake lines. This is not recommend as this was on our test car. You must use the factory oem M14x1.25x35 caliper bolts from the 2023 RX350 F Sport caliper.

If you're powdercoating your calipers, please make sure that you clean and remove any layer of paint around the brake line valve. This will ensure that the crush washer to the brake lines sit flush with the caliper and does not cause any leaks.
After enlarging the mounting holes and trimming the dust shield (if needed), you should be able to mount the caliper to your car directly with no special adapters or brackets needed. Torque the 19mm caliper bolt to 100lb-ft. The rotor will line right up to the caliper like factory.
